The piece frames a new role it calls the creative architect. As AI takes over specialist functions, people shift into broader creative and leadership work, connecting ideas across disciplines and pointing AI at the actual business goal.
"For Karo specifically, it has been AI development agents, AI QA testers, AI managers run by human people," Devaughn told LA Examiner. "Those people become directors, or as we call it, creative architects."
That is already how Karo Commerce runs. AI native is not only how we build the product, it is how we build the company, so a small team can operate like a much larger one, with humans directing the work rather than doing every piece of it.
